SMP Students Portal ("the App", "we", "us") is a mobile application that helps students access their academic information. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

We do not collect payment information, precise location, or contacts. We do not use the App for advertising.

How Your Information Is Stored and Protected

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Messaging). All data is encrypted in transit between the App and Firebase's servers. Access to the underlying database is restricted to authorized administrators of SMP Students Portal.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is not shared with third parties, except with our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase) solely to operate the App, and where required by law.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and academic data for as long as your account remains active with your institution. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below and we will process your request within a reasonable time.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by students of the institution it serves. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age required by applicable law without appropriate consent from an institution or guardian.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
